1000 ml or 4 cups of peel and grated butternut squash
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs brown rum -optional

In a bowl combine the coconut milk, water, corn syrup and the sugar. Bring it to boil at medium heat and make sure that all the sugar is dissolved. Add the grated butternut and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Add vanilla and cinnamon .Add the rum as well and simmer for another 10 minutes. If you want the butternut squash sorbet texture like ice-cream you can put the mixer in it. Once you took it out of the stove let it rest for about 10-20 minutes and then put it the refrigerator for 4 hours. Pass a mixer at the medium speed every hour. The last time when you pass the mixer you can add a beaten egg white or the whipped cream. This is optional.

4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream or 1 can sweetened condensed milk small can
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 F.Place 30 cookies in a plastic bag.Crush cookies with rolling pin. Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter in a bowl. Press firmly onto bottom of 13×9 inch baking pan. Personally I use a circular pan for the cheese cake.I like the round shape.

Beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with the mixer on medium speed untill well blended.Add sour cream or condesend milk.

I tried making cheese cake with sour cream and the sweenetend condesed milk as well and I prefer the condensed milk. You do not add sugar if you use the condesened mik wich is already sweetened.

Mix well and add eggs one at the time, beating just untill blended after each addition. Chop remaining 15 cookies.Gently stir 1-1 1/2 cups of the chopped cookies into cheescake batter.Pour over crust.Sprinke with remaining chopped cookies.

Bake 45 minutes or untill centre is almost set. Cool.Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

1 pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
3 oz vegetable oil
1/2 cup of crushed pineapple
1 cup of grated carrots
1/4 cup of chopped nuts
1/4 cup of dry raisins
Cream Cheese Icing

1 1/2 tbsp of butter
1/2 cup of icing sugar
4 oz of Philadelphia cream cheese (do not use the cream cheese spread)
1 tbsp of vanilla
Directions : Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Grease the pan with butter and coat with flour. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and the sugar).Set aside.

Mix the wet ingredients as follow. Beat the white of the egg until firm.Add the yolks, egg, drained pineapple, carrots and the chopped nuts and the dry raisins.

Incorporate the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients in the oven at 350F for 50 to 60 minutes.

One time I just decided that I am going to change the shape of the cake and I added some pineapple at the bottom of the pan and on the sides and really liked the way it turned out.See image below.Notice that I did not use any icing as well.

Did you ever think of having your own website ?

Maybe you coach hockey or soccer.Maybe you like to bake or do crafts and arts. Whatever that hobby is you can bring it to the web if you want to. It is simple.

I choose the hosting with host papa and they are great. The advantage is that you can install WordPress very easy and can have a your site PRETTY FAST.

Now before you start there are couple of things you may want to consider.

You need some basic computer knowledge.

The theme of your website needs to be appealing to you.Choose something that you love doing to keep the spark and the interst over the years.

Provide valuable content that will be useful to other people.

Lase but not least it is important to have fun with it.
When I started this website I had no idea how it will grow and how I will make it to the search engines but then as the time passed by it unfolded pretty nice.

Host papa is very reliable and competitive in price. If you will compare it with other sites you will find that even though they may be cheaper thay charge addional prices for the Word Press.

If you have additional questions you can email me at support@easy-baking.net and I could guide you or answer some of your questions.

Christmas is just around the corner.Welcome to the season of chilly wintery winds, unless of course you are in one of those deliciously mild climate areas that we like to go to for winter vacations. It is a time of reflection and looking back at the year that passed.I have to say that I had a very good year so far. I counted my blessings and found them many…
It is so nice to have a little more time to spend with family and good friends.Maybe that is why we have Christmas cards and letters as a more practical alternative.
